Emma Bridgewater, you should think "beautifully-designed, contemporary Staffordshire pottery." Born from a desire to find a cup-and-saucer birthday present for her mother, but finding frustration instead, the Emma Bridgewater company was created in 1985, and - as one can guess - it was named after its founder, who remains a driving force of the company.
