Garden Bird Supplies is a UK supplier of all things "garden bird" related, including many types of food, a wide selection of bird feeders and a multitude of related accessories, such as bird baths, binoculars and other wildlife products. In fact, Garden Bird Supplies is the UK’s largest specialist supplier of wild bird-related products by mail order.
As of October 2014, Garden Bird Supplies has re-branded, and is now known as
Garden Bird & Wildlife Co. However, while the name has changed, but Garden Bird & Wildlife Co hasn’t changed its commitment to providing customers with the best in garden bird and wildlife care! As always, Garden Bird & Wildlife Co continue to provide one of the widest ranges of quality foods, feeders, nest boxes, and bird care accessories, all tested for safety and effectiveness. As part of the re-brand, there is now an expanded selection of wildlife products which now includes, foods, feeders, and care accessories.
Garden Bird Supplies was founded in the town of Wem in Shropshire in 1994, with an aim to provide a range of high-quality foods for wild birds at a time when, for several reasons, the populations of many favourite garden bird species appeared in decline. Not surprisingly, good food goes down just as well with birds as with humans, and the bird foods from Garden Bird Supplies are specially formulated from the finest ingredients by ornithologists and avian nutritionists, so you can be certain you’re providing good quality nutrition to your garden visitors.
Having outgrown its original location, Garden Bird Supplies is now located at Kelvedon Park in Essex, and is actively involved in the Birdcare Standards Association, which it helped to found. Garden Bird Supplies is also closely involved with the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds), of which it is a corporate sponser, and also the BTO (British Trust for Ornithology).
A free catalogue containing all the available products may be requested via the Garden Bird website (just fill in the form with your name and address), and products may be ordered via mail-order, telephone or from the website. Any orders placed by telephone or Internet require a credit or debit card, but via post the standard forms of payment, such as cheque, are accepted. Orders are currently not accepted for addresses outside of the UK (which also applies to requests for catalogues).
