Home Shopping Direct is a trading style of JD Williams & Company Ltd, one of the UK’s leading mail-order companies, now operating more than 20 successful UK catalogue brands, plus dozens of home shopping websites. JD Williams catalogues offer a wide selection of clothing and other products for all ages, tastes, and sizes. All of the clothes you see on display are designed to provide the best fit for the best value. JD Williams are also specialists in the larger sizes of womenswear. The Home Shopping Direct website focuses mainly on fashion, with sections for both men and women. However, there are also usually a number of home-goods (ie. bedroom accessories, quilts, etc) available too. The Home Shopping Direct (HSD) website is similar in appearance to most of the other JD Williams suite of websites, but we must admit to preferring the menu system on most of the other websites, since it never seems quite clear where to find things on the HSD website. However, it’s easy to search for products if you want to and prices are always very reasonable. As with several of the newer JD Williams properties, no paper catalogue currently exists to compliment the Home Shopping Direct website, but you may still purchase goods on credit using a JD Williams account, in the same way that you would with most other catalogues.
