As of mid-September, 2013, Mail Order Express has gone into administration, and the Mail Order Express website is no longer available for retail purchases. Our Mail Order Express links will now take you to Early Learning Center instead.
Mail Order Express maintains one of the largest mail-order toys & games operations, together with its popular online toy store, and is a division of Arbon & Watts Ltd, which itself operates two bricks-and-mortar stores in Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. Mail Order Express deals exclusively with the Mail Order sales for Arbon and Watts Ltd, a recognised retailer of many leading brands of toys, games and puzzles, and specialises in baby and toddler toys, traditional toys and games, plus more unusual items such as play clothes. Mail Order Express are also stockists of accessories and spares for products like VTech, Hornby, KNex and Tomy toys. With a heritage stretching all the way back to 1946, when the first store, trading as "F.A. Watts" was started, Mail Order Express has itself now been in operation for more than 15 years, having been started in 1990, with the Mail Order Express website making its debut in 1999 during the first Internet boom, while meantime Arbon and Watts has continued to be very successful, being nominated for, and winning, many awards, including "Toy Shop of the Year" (in fact, four times), from the British Association of Toy Retailers. MailOrderExpress.com currently stocks more than 15,000 toys, games, arts and crafts, models and jigsaws - which makes it one of the largest toy stores on the Web - and when you start navigating the website you’ll quickly see what a huge variety of different toys are available. Whether you’re old or young, there are many names which you’ll recognise, with all the major brands, old and new, available, including instantly recognisable favourites such as Hornby - a name of yore synonymous with fantastical train-sets and the like. In fact at the online store there is an excellent selection of train sets, diesel and electric locomotives, coaches, wagons and more, together with a range of controllers and rail-track too. You can also find Scalextric, another old favourite, at the website as well. Whatever type of toy or puzzle you’re after, then you have more than a good chance of finding it at the Mail Order Express website, with everything from wooden toys and doll houses to family games and remote control toys readily available. Various free catalogues are available from Mail Order Express, including those for brand-names such as Tomy, PinToys, PlanToys, Manhattan and LEGO, amongst many others, and each is supplied with an order form and an up-to-date price list. When you make an order with Mail Order Express, then your catalogues will be posted free of charge, but otherwise you’ll just need to pay a nominal amount for postage. While the Mail Order Express website is not the glitziest of sites, once you’ve clicked around a few pages, it’s remarkably easy to navigate, and very fast to load. You can also easily locate products suitable for different ages, from baby all the way through to 14 years of age; some catalogues are also available to view electronically as well, plus you’ll nearly always find at least one or two free-to-enter competitions as well! Mail Order Express is operated independently. See other independently operated catalogues, or catalogues from other UK mail-order companies. You may find similar UK catalogues to Mail Order Express, or similar products, within the catalogue categories defined for Mail Order Express.
