Shipton & Heneage Limited is the UK’s largest dedicated, high-quality, mail-order footwear company. Established in 1989, Shipton & Heneage have now been providing classic, traditional English shoes by mail order for close to twenty years. Shipton & Heneage traditional shoes are benchmade in Northamptonshire, England, following a tradition established in the 18th Century and using the finest materials available.

You can purchase from the entire range of traditional men’s shoes, and women’s shoes, from the Shipton & Heneage online shoe shop: mens brogues, mens loafers, italian loafers, welted shoes, velvet slippers, fashion shoes, chelsea boots - you’ll find them all at the Shipton & Heneage online store. With over 300 different styles and types of shoes - wide shoes, narrow shoes, wing-tips and slip-ons - there are styles to suit all tastes.

All of Shipton and Heneage shoes are British made, and are made to the highest standards of British shoe-making from top-quality European leathers. All of the shoes sold by Shipton & Heneage are "Goodyear Welted" with high-quality soles and are made in Northampton (unlike many shoes available on the market today, none of the shoes are made in the Far East).

The famous Shipton and Heneage mail-order footwear catalogue may also be requested from the website; however, at the time of writing, there is no online request form, and you’ll need to actually telephone them, or write your request. We provide contact details further down the page.

The Shipton & Heneage website is markedly different to most other catalogue sites which we list - testament, in part, to the fact that they are independent, rather than one of a stable of brand-names, such as those operated by JD Williams for example - and while there are few bells and whistles, it is very functional, and quite easy to find your way around.

The bottom line (almost) ... If you want great shoes that will really last, with a look to set you apart from the crowd, then you really should check out the Shipton & Heneage website.

Shipton & Heneage is operated independently. See other independently operated catalogues, or catalogues from other UK mail-order companies.
