Early Learning Centre, now one of the most recognised UK high-street names, opened its first store in the mid-1970’s. Early Learning Centre now has over 200 stores across the UK. Unlike many stores, when you visit any one of the Early Learning stores, your child can take toys out their boxes and play with them, so you can choose the toys your child likes to play with best.
Unfortunately the web has not yet progressed to feats of engineering allowing you to touch and play with the toys you see online or in the Early Learning catalogue, but you’ll still get an excellent idea of what’s available, plus, Early Learning also has a "no quibble returns policy," meaning that they will happily exchange an item or refund your money if necessary, without affecting your statutory rights. You will also find a range of Early Learning Centre toys in concessions in some Debenhams stores, Sainsbury’s supermarkets and also at Boots the Chemist. Additionally, Early Learning Centre has over 80 international stores in 19 countries around the world. Your free Early Learning Centre (ELC) catalogue may be requested from the ELC website by following the "Request Catalogue" link in the menu. Just fill in the online form with your name and address, and you’ll generally be sent a your free catalogue within a few days. The ELC website itself is now much improved over earlier versions, and you can easily spend an enjoyable hour or two browsing among the toys and games which are available, all of which are neatly categorised by both age and type, or brand. So, for example, you can quickly find toys and games for babies ages 1 to 2 years, or find action and adventure games for 3 to 4 year olds. Most of the major brands are available at ELC.co.uk, including all of the following, amongst others: Baby Annabell, Balamory, Berchet, Blossom Farm, Crayola, Disney Princess, Fisher-Price, Happy Land, JCB, Jolly Phonics, Leap Frog, Mamas & Papas, Mega Bloks, TP, Thomas & Friends, VTech, Winnie The Pooh, Wooden World and Woodland. Early Learning Centre have an excellent reputation for good quality toys, and while you may sometimes see cheaper toys elsewhere, when you purchase from ELC you can be certain that the toys have undergone a rigorous screening process before they get anywhere close to being sold in stores or online, which, in our book, is well worth an extra few pence! Early Learning Centre is operated independently. See other independently operated catalogues, or catalogues from other UK mail-order companies. You may find similar UK catalogues to Early Learning Centre, or similar products, within the catalogue categories defined for Early Learning Centre.
