LEGO catalogue coverLEGO is surely one of the most recognised and enduring names in the land of toys, and is now more than 75 years old, the LEGO Group having originally been created in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen, in Denmark. The LEGO company has since been passed from father to son and LEGO is now owned by Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, a grandchild of Ole Kirk Christiansen. From a small carpenter’s workshop to a modern, global enterprise, in terms of sales, LEGO is now the world’s sixth-largest manufacturer of toys.

The name ’LEGO’ is actually an abbreviation of the two Danish words, "leg godt", meaning "play well." These words can be seen to have been honoured with great vigour, with the children of the world spending 5 billion hours a year playing with LEGO bricks, and with LEGO products now sold all over the world. As one of the world’s largest toy manufacturers, and the largest manufacturer of construction toys, LEGO has come a long way in its relatively short life-time.

The LEGO online store, together with the LEGO mail-order catalogue, is the single destination you need for all things LEGO-related. Every conceivable LEGO product is available from the online store, including LEGO Mindstorms products, Aqua Raiders, Indiana Jones, Thomas and Friends, and dozens of other LEGO products, from the basic building blocks of LEGO life to the constantly evolving advanced LEGO themes.

There is also a host of other things to be found on the LEGO UK website, including information about the LEGO Ambassador programme and the LEGO Certified Professionals program; you can also find out much more about the history of LEGO, and information about the various LEGOLAND destinations (LEGOLAND UK is in Windsor).

Your free LEGO catalogue - the LEGO "Shop At Home" catalogue - can be requested via a form on the LEGO website, and is available for many different countries should you need a catalogue for a country other than the UK. If you already have a LEGO catalogue, and wish to purchase online, then, to make sure you get the same price as you see in your printed catalogue, be sure to enter your LEGO catalogue code in the form provided on the "Shop by Catalog" link. You can find your catalogue code on the back of your LEGO Shop At Home Catalogue.

LEGO is operated independently. See other independently operated catalogues, or catalogues from other UK mail-order companies.

You may find similar UK catalogues to LEGO, or similar products, within the catalogue categories defined for LEGO.
