Marks & Spencer catalogue coverMarks & Spencer is well known for its extensive chain of high-quality department stores throughout the UK, but you can also enjoy catalogue shopping with Marks & Spencer too, with the "M&S Home" catalogue. A wide range of beautiful furniture and accessories for the home can be found in M&S Home, and even if you’re not inclined to purchase anything right away, you’ll get some excellent design ideas for every room of your home. The M&S Home magazine is available to order from the Marks & Spencer website; however, unlike many catalogues, this one you do need to purchase, albeit for a very affordable, nominal amount. Products in the M&S Home catalogue may be ordered by phone, online or in-store.

The origins of Marks & Spencer go all the way back to 1884, more than 120 years ago, when Michael Marks formed a partnership with Tom Spencer. Over the following decades Marks & Spencer would register the St Michael trademark, which has forever become synonymous with M&S, would introduce café bars into many of its stores, was an early experimenter with self-service in some of its stores, and would also open its doors in contintenal Europe, in Paris and Brussels - and subsequently far beyond. Today, Marks & Spencer have more than 400 stores located throughout the UK, plus 150 other stores worldwide, operating in 30 countries.

While outside the realms of possibility when the M&S partnership was first conceived, in 1999 M&S customers were also given the opportunity to shop online, at the first Marks & Spencer website, where a fairly basic selection of products was available. Now, several years later, online customers can find a huge range of products available, with everything from electronics and furniture to latest fashions, gifts and flowers, wines, schoolwear and much else - in fact much of what you’ll find in any Marks & Spencer store can also be purchased online.

Using the Marks & Spencer website is a pleasure, with easy to follow menus, easy-to-read text, and always plenty of helpful information available for each product. You’ll also find that Marks & Spencer offers a variety of other useful services from its main website too, including financial services, car insurance, travel insurance and insurance for your home.

Marks & Spencer is operated independently. See other independently operated catalogues, or catalogues from other UK mail-order companies.

Marks & Spencer Credit Terms:
Marks & Spencer does not offer the traditional credit facilities of many mail-order catalogue companies, but does provide a variety of ways to pay for your purchases, including most major credit cards. You can also pay for your online order using the ‘&MORE’ Credit Card, or your Marks & Spencer Chargecard. The M&S ‘&MORE’ chargecard currently offers up to 55 days interest free credit if you pay your balance in full by the due date, and no annual fee. However, credit offers are often subject to change, and so you should check the M&S website for the most recent information.
